You then have to apply the ini file workarounds noted in bug 23993 to get it to start. But it then crashes after a few seconds with a scrambled sort of squawk from the speakers. Reaper versions 3.xx and 4.xx with Wine 1.2.x and Wine 1.3.x use about 3 times as much processor power compared to MS Windows running Reaper on an equivalent processor. (12 in Wine for me.) Hans got 192 failures on Windows. When I open the photo gallery, pictures are surely there, because they're selectable, but each frame, containing a photo, is empty/blank. Photos are saved on disk in bmp format, under ~/DepthHunter/Photos directory and I can open the files with any Linux image viewer. Native d3dx9_36.dll is a workaround. Wine doesn't provide anything suspicious in the terminal, so here I'm attaching a +d3dx debug log. A demo for Depth Hunter does exist but in-game photo gallery is not available in the demo.
