After the Steam update of a couple days ago, the game has started crashing a few seconds after starting an actual game (getting out of the menu section) whether a single player or multiplayer game. This is very obvious when in a race, when pressing a right or left arrow, the car steers after a while and keep steering for a period longer than it should be. After a while the game crashes. Sometimes they reappear for a short period only to vanish again. They're either completely missing or only partially drawn. This happens only when the game is running with hardware rendering. Using the software renderer (-no3d command line argument) the problem is non-existent. A plain terminal output doesn't reveal anything interesting.
