I get an error window saying: No support for hardware accelerated games. The problem is, that the module file name is returned as "UNC\server\share\application.exe" which _lopen can not use. If it was returned as "\\server\share\application.exe" everything would be fine. It makes programs like IMs unable to notify the user that it needs attention (received a new message etc). Some IMs like Tencent Messenager (TM) only uses this when an already open chat window receives new messages. I suggest you implement this function by setting the urgent hint on Linux/X11.
