It succeeds the second time the build is run, or as long as the wineserver process is alive, ie if killed, it will fail another time. Pressing F4 switches to windowed mode and it then works OK. Pressing F4 again makes the display disappear off the screen. This happens with both Nvidia and AMD. Can't see any obvious errors.
