http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48217 italopaesano <italopaesano.shopping@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |italopaesano.shopping@gmail | |.com --- Comment #4 from italopaesano <italopaesano.shopping@gmail.com> --- Adding a confirmation that this symbol is still missing on Wine 11.0 (wine-wow64 build), and that it affects a second, unrelated application: Wondershare Filmora 15.7.25.21914 and 16.0.10.22341 (both tested). The practical effect here is different from the original report: instead of a visible crash, the application never finishes starting. Filmora runs a small probe executable (ofx_check.exe, used to enumerate OpenFX plugins) during its startup "environment test" phase. The probe aborts immediately on the missing symbol, Filmora relaunches it, and the cycle never ends - measured at roughly 7 aborts/second, tens of thousands accumulated before being noticed. The UI just shows an indefinite spinner with no error message, which makes the cause hard to identify without relay/debug logging. Exact error, unchanged from the original report: wine: Call from ... to unimplemented function msvcr120.dll.?_NewCollection@_AsyncTaskCollection@details@Concurrency@@SAPEAV123@PEAV_CancellationTokenState@23@@Z, aborting Workaround that works without installing anything: Filmora ships Microsoft's native msvcr120.dll in its own install directory, so WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msvcr120=n,b" (prefer native, fall back to builtin) is enough - no need for winetricks vcrun2013. Environment: NixOS 26.05, Wine 11.0 wow64 build, win64 prefix, Windows 10 (build 19045, default). -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
