http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60547 Bug ID: 60547 Summary: Star Citizen CrashHandler not running Product: Wine Version: 11.20 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: dbghelp Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: mactan@edgetransit.dev Target Milestone: --- Distribution: --- Created attachment 82412 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=82412 workaround write minidump on current thread During a game client crash Star Citizen attempts to hand off to it's bundled CrashHandler.exe which ends up using dbghelp however it appears to never run. This stopped working as of wine 9.5 and works on 9.4. This appears to be a result of this bug and MR. With this working again we would be able to submit crash reports through their automated tool https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/5307 https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55798 for context writing the minidump on the current thread allows the game to hand off to the crashhandler tool and it run's successfully on top of 11.20 / latest git -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
