Any news about this bug ?
Popup error occurs when trying to install UE5.4 along with these logs: The embedded MSI payload failed signature verification. Certificate CN does not match 'Epic Games Inc.' 0024:fixme:file:NtLockFile I/O completion on lock not implemented yet 0024:fixme:cryptasn:CryptDecodeObjectEx Unsupported decoder for lpszStructType 1.3.6.1.4.1.311.2.1.4 0024:fixme:cryptasn:CryptDecodeObjectEx Unsupported decoder for lpszStructType 1.3.6.1.4.1.311.2.1.4 0024:fixme:wintrust:SOFTPUB_VerifyImageHash Cannot verify hash for pszObjId="1.3.6.1.4.1.311.2.1.30" Other bugs mentioning cryptasn, wintrust fixme: https://bugs.winehq.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=CryptDecodeObjectEx%20Unsupp... https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53800 Installer works on Windows so as a workaround for now it seems UE 5.4 needs to be installed via Windows to a location accessible by Wine on the Linux side. Hopefully there won't be any significant environmental/registry discrepancies by doing so. Maybe winetricks has a workaround but I'm not aware of it yet. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
