http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60525 Bug ID: 60525 Summary: FindVUK breaks in Wine 11.20 - SetFilePointer fails on Blu-ray/DVD drive Product: Wine Version: 11.20 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: toadking@toadking.com Target Milestone: --- Distribution: --- In Wine 11.20, the tool FindVUK fails on parsing Blu-ray/DVD discs/drives. The tool log prints this error: [E] drive_ms(399) / DRVMS_ReadLogicalBlockDrive / ERROR! SetFilePointer failed! ReadPos >32768< Looking at a trace it looks like get_handle_fd() with a raw drive handle (like "\\\\.\\D:") returns BAD_DEVICE_TYPE, when you should be able to open and read a Blu-ray/DVD disc this way. This program worked in Wine 11.19. A trace with WINEDEBUG=+all,+file is too large to attach (it was the only way to get the relevant log around BAD_DEVICE_TYPE) so it can be found here: https://toadking.com/findvuk.log.gz (relevant logs start around line 3537826) Command used: WINEDEBUG=+all,+file wine findvuk.exe validatedisc drive=d (expects a Blu-ray disc to inserted in drive D) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
