http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60365 Bug ID: 60365 Summary: YAPE: cropped output with the Direct3D9 renderer when CRT Emulation is enabled Product: Wine Version: 11.18 Hardware: x86-64 URL: http://yape.homeserver.hu/download/yape1.4.0.zip OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: gyebro69@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Distribution: ArchLinux Created attachment 82150 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=82150 YAPE Direct3D9 renderer, original window size YAPE (Yet Another Plus/4 Emulator) displays an incomplete image under Wine when using its Direct3D9 renderer with “CRT Emulation” enabled. Much of the rendering area remains black. Only part of the emulator image is visible, with the remaining area black. In the initial small window, only a small portion near the upper-left corner is displayed. Maximizing the window reveals more of the image, but the output remains incomplete and a large black area remains below it. This is separate from the NVIDIA + X11 + EGL black-screen issue with YAPE’s OpenGL renderer: bug #60364. This Direct3D9 issue occurs across the tested drivers and display backends, affects windowed rendering as well, and also occurs with YAPE 1.2.7. I haven't tested YAPE on native Windows or identified a Wine regression range. The same problem with Wine-6.0, Wine-7.0.2, Wine-8.0.2, Wine-9.0.1 and so on. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Yape.exe using Wine’s built-in d3d9.dll 2. Select the Direct3D9 renderer in the top menu's Screen-> Video driver and enable “CRT Emulation” in the Screen menu. 3. Observe the emulator image in the initial window. 4. Maximize the emulator window or press Alt-Enter to switch to fullscreen: the image remains incomplete Tested on: Arch Linux Wine-11.18 YAPE 1.4.0, 64-bit executable; also reproduced with YAPE 1.2.7 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER NVIDIA proprietary driver 615.71.09; also reproduced with nouveau/Mesa 26.2.3 Reproduced with NVIDIA under both X11/XFCE and native Wayland. Reproduced with both EGL and legacy GLX EmulateModeset=Y does not resolve the issue. Disabling 'CRT Emulation' in the emulator option avoids the issue DXVK comparison: The problem doesn't occur with DXVK's d3d9.dll (v3.1.1-24-g40e01640+) yape1.4.0.zip sha256:66356550332b5126128aaadb7d069ece20908c38bbc1bf7154021c22251028a9 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
