http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59955 Bug ID: 59955 Summary: Controller inputs get progressively more delayed Product: Wine Version: 9.18 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: granminigun@gmail.com Distribution: --- When using a game controller, moving analogue sticks and triggers introduces progressively increasing input delay. Programs react to inputs slower and slower, including button presses, until all controls are released for some time. This does not affect keyboard and mouse inputs, only gamepad. The issue is present since Wine 9.18, is in Wine 11.12, and can be reproduced in Game Controllers control panel applet, on all three tabs (seems to be worse when Rumble box is checked). Initially the behaviour was noticed in Test Drive Unlimited, then confirmed in TOCA Race Driver (especially bad in that one). The device in question is 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller, with 1000 Hz polling rate. The system is Arch Linux, X11 session. Bisection points at the commit 2aecb17285034ce0b0d16224545d12283e67270f. Reverting it against Wine 9.18 resolves the issue. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
