http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52739 --- Comment #4 from Janne <janne.kekkonen@gmail.com> --- Hello, re-tested this. My Setup: OS: Ubuntu Mate 24.04 (running on VMware) Wine: Version 11.11 Firefox installer download link: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/90.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setu... Initial Test (Baseline): - Created a new 32-bit prefix and configured it as Windows 10. - Installed DoNotSpy10 (using the link/version from my previous comment). Result: The application crashes right around the time the information about a new version is displayed on screen. Test with Firefox's xul.dll: - Extracted Firefox Setup 90.0.exe to a temporary directory. - Navigated to the directory: <wine prefix>/drive_c/windows/system32/ gecko/2.47.4/wine_gecko/ - Renamed the original xul.dll (to keep it as a backup). - Copied the xul.dll from the extracted Firefox folder into the Wine Gecko directory mentioned above. Final Result: With this workaround, DoNotSpy10 no longer crashed. I navigated through various GUI features, and during this brief test, no crashes were observed. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
