http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49933 Stian Low <wineryyyyy@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |wineryyyyy@gmail.com --- Comment #71 from Stian Low <wineryyyyy@gmail.com> --- Reproducible for wine-11.14-1012f3d9950 for most GOG game installers including true.fear.forsaken.souls.part.2-(GOG-86051). Unable to reproduce for game-screamer.4x4-(2.0.0.6) so maybe specific to GOG installer versions? Remi's patch still works around as of wine-11.14 preventing window from ever becoming invisible. Otherwise window visible until Alt+Tab after which it often remains invisible until waiting some indefinite minutes after installcompletes and window becomes visible again as if triggered by some state change. Sometimes window becomes visible during install also seemingly triggered by some specific state change. Without Remi's patch, pressing Alt followed by Space after installer completes (indicated when stops spamming logs) effectively clicks the Exit button which I typically use as a shortcut vs waiting for the window to eventually appear. Ctrl-C often does not kill the installer and requires manual process kill instead. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
