OpenMPT works around the Wine bug. That doesn't automatically mean that the
Wine bug is fixed, it might still affect other software in a similar way. The
only way to check the validity of the bug with OpenMPT would be to build this
old version (r16683). If Wine developers want to look into this, I can provide
a prebuilt version (the link above has expired).
