http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54836 --- Comment #13 from cookiequp3@gmail.com --- Additional data point for the LINE duplicate (bug 59813): LINE 26.4.2.3957 started and login succeeded with Bottles 67.3, soda-11.0-10, and Fedora 44 after I signed the prefix DLLs with osslsigncode 2.12. Before signing, crypt32.dll had an empty PE Security Directory and LINE reported NO_SIGNATURE. I did not import the generated self-signed CA into Wine's or the host's trust store. The certificate used subject fields from this existing community workaround: https://forum.gamer.com.tw/Co.php?bsn=60030&sn=2550747 I did not isolate whether those subject fields affected LINE's acceptance. During the session, both prefix copies of crypt32.dll were replaced: their sizes and mtimes changed and their Security Directories became empty again. LINE then reported NO_SIGNATURE again; signing the current files fixed it. I did not determine what triggered their replacement. Also, a manually copied GdiPlus.dll beside LineInst.exe was checked instead of the already-signed prefix copy, so that adjacent file had to be signed too. This is one successful configuration, not a claim that the workaround is sufficient for other applications or Wine builds. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
