I tested again with Wine 11.10 built from source on Linux x86_64.
Please retest for wine-staging because it has known workarounds for Battle.net crashes/rendering issues that happen for non-staging.
Upgrading test to wine-11.10 will be most compatible with latest wine-staging patches to apply cleanly for source builds.
I retested with Wine Staging as requested. Environment: - Wine Staging built from current source - Fresh Battle.net installation in a new prefix - Same result as non-staging Wine Battle.net still crashes during startup and enters the Wine debugger. The crash point remains: libcef+0x16d00e1 : int3 The loaded modules include: battle.net battle.net helper chrome_elf libcef So the crash still appears to occur inside the Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) used by Battle.net. Additional information: - OpenGL renderer: llvmpipe (LLVM 21.1.8, 256 bits) - Running inside a QEMU/KVM virtual machine - Vulkan is available only through llvmpipe software rendering The behavior is unchanged between regular Wine and Wine Staging. Please let me know if there are any additional traces or debug channels you would like me to collect. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
