http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60353 Bug ID: 60353 Summary: Battle.net Stack overflow on startup Product: Wine Version: 11.7 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: charles.gorand.dev@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Distribution: --- Created attachment 82138 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=82138 Infos + Params + Env + Wine-dbg outputs Hello, I face this bug randomly in the past, but now it happens all the time. When starting battle.net and when it needs my credential I have a : 0024:err:virtual:virtual_setup_exception stack overflow 6080 bytes addr 0x78cca143 stack 0x32f840 (0x330000-0x331000-0x430000) And the Windows remains stuck. After debugging I found that it's seems to be a race condition with chained lists inside libcef. I tried several way root cause the origin of stack overflow (disable gpu, multri proces ...) always the same error. But in the past, I was able to avoid this issue (luck?) and get logged in. Once done, everything was working fine (Diablo 4...) But with latest battle update and latest Wine 11.7 (Proton EggRoll), I have still this crash and now the window disappear and battle net exit. (With or Without all the flags I put in the attachement) I tried also to use standard libcef 108.0 but I faced an ABI/call incompatibility. Blizzard has rebuilt libcef and patch it. If someone has some ideas, it would be great. Thanks -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
