The installer automatically chooses the drive with the largest capacity. This is obvious when choosing a custom install. Confirmed the same behaviour on Windows 10. Because z: --> / it sees my root directory as the largest volume (or the one with the most free space), which it is. So when the installer tries to install to z:\lotus, it is trying to install to my root /. This fails for good reason.
