http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60150 Bug ID: 60150 Summary: Cosmo Worlds 2.0 reports "no such command" errors on startup Product: Wine Version: 11.15 Hardware: x86-64 URL: https://web.archive.org/web/20170513034353/https://www 2.akg.hu/download/cosmoworlds.exe OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: arethusa26@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Distribution: --- When starting Cosmo Worlds 2.0, a series of modal message boxes reporting "No such command" and the name of a command (e.g., "No such command: outline.sgi.com:openOutline") is displayed over the main window. This behavior does not occur when running the application on Windows XP. The application calls ICatInformation::IsClassOfCategories with cImplemented == (ULONG)-1 and rgcatidImpl == NULL: 0128:trace:ole:COMCAT_ICatInformation_IsClassOfCategories CLSID: {ed889e76-d6bc-11d0-adc0-00c04fc33642} Implemented 4294967295 0128:trace:ole:COMCAT_ICatInformation_IsClassOfCategories (null) 0128:trace:ole:COMCAT_ICatInformation_IsClassOfCategories <guid-0x0010> According to MSDN, passing -1 for cImplemented should result in ICatInformation::IsClassOfCategories ignoring the rgcatidImpl parameter, but Wine's implementation reports a failure with E_POINTER instead, which results in the unexpected message box behavior. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
