thanks for the quick response... unfortunately, none of the leads end up with something usable from the traces, it looks like you run Wine from the build tree could you attach the file Z:\\Volumes\\Development\\workspace\\wine\\dlls\\dinput8\\x86_64-windows\\dinput8.dll?
