In a 32-bit wineprefix: 1. winetricks -q mspatcha 2. wine AcroRdrDC2001320064_en_US.exe 3. wine 'c:\\program files\\adobe\\acrobat reader dc\\reader\\welcome.pdf' (You may need to accept the licence agreement, and open "without the container".) This works correctly in Wine 8.0.1.
