http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31418 --- Comment #7 from Janne <janne.kekkonen@gmail.com> --- Created attachment 81132 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=81132 screen shot of www.google.com on IE8 (winXP & Win7) Hello, I created new 32bit prefix and installed IE8 using winetricks. My setup: OS: Ubuntu Mate 24.04 (running on VMWare) Wine version 11.6 (32-bit prefix configured to Windows XP and Windows7) Test results: There were no issues during installation itself. Testing was performed with Wine configured to both WinXP and Win7: In WinXP: The IE8 GUI looks normal. In Win7: The GUI is broken. The menu is missing and buttons do not appear in the correct places. In both cases, navigating to www.google.com/en produced the same result, displaying the following message on screen: "Update your browser. Your browser isn't supported anymore..." Attached are the screenshots from the WinXP and Win7 tests. Perhaps this issue is simply outdated by now. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
