Don't know if this is of any help, but I tried to find a way to force usage of
software rendering by using these environments:
  LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=mesa
VK_DRIVER_FILES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/lvp_icd.json wine winecfg

Unfortunately that crashes here with Debian trixie, also with eglinfo,
but maybe Gentoo has already a newser library stack.
