http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60509 --- Comment #1 from brunet.cyril@hotmail.com --- Created attachment 82369 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=82369 glfw-transparent.c (testcase, GLFW 3.4) Reproduced with current git (wine-11.16-1379-g5b6b85421c2, after 11.19, unmodified build, clean prefix, no DLL overrides) using a minimal GLFW testcase instead of a real application. The attached glfw-transparent.c uses the official GLFW 3.4 Windows binaries (https://github.com/glfw/glfw/releases/download/3.4/glfw-3.4.bin.WIN64.zip, SHA1 aeafc0a1372f985fb884b0f6c64454b841ad516f, statically linked from lib-mingw-w64). It opens an undecorated window with GLFW_TRANSPARENT_FRAMEBUFFER, clears it every frame to (0, 0, 0, 0) and draws an opaque red square in the middle. Expected (Windows 10/11): only the red square is visible, the desktop shows through the rest of the window. Actual: the whole window is drawn; everything around the red square is opaque black. From the attached terminal output: - fixme:dwmapi:DwmEnableBlurBehindWindow is printed when GLFW enables the transparency. - GLFW asks for an 8-bit alpha channel, but the current context reports GL_ALPHA_BITS 0. - The X11 window that Wine creates for it has depth 24, so there is no alpha channel to composite with; the pixel at (10,10) is RGB (0, 0, 0). System: Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS x86_64, GNOME Shell 50.1 Wayland session (XWayland, winex11.drv), compositing window manager running (32-bit ARGB visuals available), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with driver 615.71.09. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
