Hmmm...there must be something wrong on my system then. I created a new prefix, installed 6.5.0 without any error dialogs, started the app, it passes activation and I get the same freeze and error the moment I click anywhere.

Oh, I was so happy I didn't notice the specific git hash. I suppose that's why it's not working on my end.
Hopefully matching my commit fixes also for you. If not, then indeed something may be wrong on your system possibly caused by LLM doing things it should not while pretending to be intelligent.
