[Bug 60366] New: reMarkable desktop 3.28.1 (Qt 6, D3D11): window contents only update when the window is resized
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60366 Bug ID: 60366 Summary: reMarkable desktop 3.28.1 (Qt 6, D3D11): window contents only update when the window is resized Product: Wine Version: 11.17 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: d3d Assignee: wine-bugs@list.winehq.org Reporter: winehqbugzilla.perch653@passmail.net Target Milestone: --- Distribution: --- The reMarkable desktop app (x64, Qt 6.10.3, Qt Quick with the D3D11 backend) only shows its first frame. After that the window contents never change until the window is resized. Clicks and data loaded in the background do not show up, so the app looks like it ignores mouse input. Input does reach the app: +msg shows WM_LBUTTONDOWN/WM_LBUTTONUP delivered to the main window, and the result of a click (e.g. switching the sidebar filter) becomes visible after the next resize. Swapchain setup according to +dxgi: CreateSwapChainForHwnd, SetMaximumFrameLatency(2), GetFrameLatencyWaitableObject, then Present(sync_interval 1, flags 0). Reproduces with: - winex11.drv (on Xwayland) and winewayland.drv - wined3d renderer=vulkan and renderer=gl Does not help: MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=mailbox, QT_D3D_NO_VBLANK_THREAD=1. Workaround: DXVK 3.1.1 (native d3d11 and dxgi). With it the app updates normally with both graphics drivers. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install the reMarkable desktop app 3.28.1 for Windows 64-bit and start it. 2. Click "Notebooks" or "PDFs" in the sidebar: the view does not change. 3. Resize the window: the new view appears. System: Arch Linux, Wine 11.17, Mesa 26.2.3, Intel Iris Xe (Tiger Lake GT2), Linux 7.2.6, sway 1.12 (wlroots 0.20). This app has never been stable, but this was worst than I've seen it. Not sure when this changed. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
