2. Go to the "Graphics" tab.
3. Uncheck "Allow the window manager to control the windows" and click OK.
4. Launch any Windows application (e.g., 7-Zip version 26.02).

If this is about the desktop environment taskbar, it is fully expected. If the
window manager doesn't control the windows, it won't show them either in any of
its window switching mechanisms. If you don't want that, you should simply not
use that option.

Thank you for the explanation.

I now understand that this is the expected behavior when disabling window
manager control. Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for taking the time to
