http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59971 --- Comment #2 from gogokily@gmail.com --- Created attachment 81372 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=81372 Bisect Seems this one is in question 733ff599984ffbd3f5b4bb59071f228038130d51 is the first 'bad' commit commit 733ff599984ffbd3f5b4bb59071f228038130d51 For actuall downloading of waves it takes some effort and needs yabridge setup... I could not find any more plugins in my library that uses opengl as waves do. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59971 --- Comment #5 from Rémi Bernon <rbernon@codeweavers.com> --- Thanks, there's indeed a crash but I don't see how it is related to wglCreateContextAttribsARB. The function is called and succeeds, and some GL rendering eventually happens. The GL context is then recreated and made current again, and it then crash shortly after, it's unclear why. Even if complicated, is it possible to get that application somewhere to try to reproduce it? I had successfully used yabridge with Carla in the past, but I don't know where to find these specific plugins. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59971 --- Comment #6 from gogokily@gmail.com --- Please give me some time to try to finds some plugin that uses opengl like waves so you can just install and test. If I could not find any then I will make a hopefully simple guide how to install waves central (unless wine now handles it without any manual intervention and its just click and install). Thank you very much for looking into this I will respond within hour or two. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59971 --- Comment #7 from gogokily@gmail.com --- Unfortunatly i did not find any plugins..... so installing waves is only way... So you need to register (login with google or whatever). 1. Get Free pack: https://www.waves.com/bundles/free-plugin-pack 2. Go to download section and download install Waves Central. 3. After that you can follow guide here: https://github.com/tillrd/waves-linux (In reality you will need just powershell installed (at least that was enough for me)) When it installs you will need to login (be careful not to use any snap/flatpack browsers) since it will try to communicate with launcher that you login succesfully (it will do it via xdg). If everything went good till now then install your free pack and run "yabridgectl sync" after. They should be available now in daw: 1. Load plugin first time -> will showup normally 2. Close it 3. Click it to open again -> crash If this whole process fails on your end or seems complicated (I wont lie it sometimes is) if you need anything from me, gdb, other logs let me know. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59971 --- Comment #8 from gogokily@gmail.com --- Ok I found few more plugins that produce same errors as waves https://potenzadsp.com/plugins/ But unlike waves where you can open them first time fine and on second open they bork, this one borks immediatly with same opcode errors. There is a free plugin dubber you can try with it (I tested it to confirm (but I also have 2 others and same). To install copy the content to: Program Files/Common Files/VST3 and do yabridgectl --sync -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59971 --- Comment #9 from gogokily@gmail.com --- Im finding more and more plugins (non waves) that hang/don't even open that spam same errors as waves. Equator2 roli (you need to have hardware for it) but in any case does exact same thing. The only thing is waves can open first time but on second time they will hang, these ones hang Immediately on opening -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
