For example: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=20882 The latest test result is already selected as shown by "Current". However, if I want a link directly to that test result I have to select a different one, and then select it again. https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=20882&iTesting... Following the submission of a test result for an application, it is not obvious how to share a link directly to that test result.
For example: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=20882
Original logic indeed is a bit confusing and I cannot make much sense of why it was deliberately chosen to operate that way. Regardless, MR-36 will support clicks for current row like the others: 1. Link in the first column (to easily share links per this bug reported) 2. A new user won't know that they need to click on the link to get a shareable URL. It has turned a two-step process into a one-step one though. It doesn't resolve the underlying issue. A new user won't know that they need to click on the link to get a shareable URL. It has turned a two-step process into a one-step one though.
A share/copy link for the test result should be easy to add.
So the request is to support something more obvious to the user than what their browser supports via right click -> copy link shown in screenshot? Not everyone knows you can right-click on a link to copy, even in this day and age. But saying that it's not obvious that you would need to.
