At the end of the installation the DAP tries to open and lock with an error screen. After installation when trying to open the DAP, nothing happens. The test was performed with Wine 11.13 in a clean 32-bit prefix configured as WinXP. The installer seemed to hang on "gathering information" for a very long time. It did not seem to make any progress, so after 5-7 minutes I cancelled the installer. In the console log, there was one failed http_connection attempt: 00ec:err:wininet:open_http_connection create_netconn failed: 12029 I reran the installer with WINEDEBUG=+wininet, which showed the connection attempt: 00f4:trace:wininet:open_http_connection connecting to L"stub.speedbit.com", proxy (null) 00f4:err:wininet:open_http_connection create_netconn failed: 12029 The application seemed to be installed anyway, so I tried running it.
