http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49432 Tobi L <tobil4sk@outlook.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |tobil4sk@outlook.com --- Comment #2 from Tobi L <tobil4sk@outlook.com> --- The error still reproduces with Wine 11.17. It reports that the runtime error comes from "Line -1". The app is open source, so I downloaded AutoIt v3.3.18.0 (from https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/downloads/) and I tried to run the au3 sources directly like this to try to find the real line number: $ build/wine ~/Downloads/install/AutoIt3.exe /ErrorStdOut ~/Downloads/EraserDropPortable/Other/Source/EraserDrop.au3 "Z:\home\USER\Downloads\EraserDropPortable\Other\Source\_RegFunc.au3" (27) : ==> Can not redeclare a constant.: Global Const $REG_QWORD = 11 Global Const ^ ERROR To solve this I had to comment out the offending lines. Then I had to make sure the compiled Eraser.dll is next to the au3 script. This revealed the subscript error comes from this:
Local $aDesktop = WinGetPos("Program Manager") Local $xGUI = Number(IniRead($configini, "eraser", "x", "100")) If $xGUI > $aDesktop[2] - $widthGUI Then
The problem is that WinGetPos("Program Manager") returns a nil value, which then gives an error since it is not an array. Program manager does not start automatically in WINE, which is why the position is empty. By starting it manually, it is possible to work around the issue and get the program to launch. $ build/wine progman & $ build/wine ~/Downloads/EraserDropPortable/EraserDropPortable.exe Not sure what the correct approach would be for fixing this. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
