please close this? registry is not the same as registry so it's mislabeled, but also not a wine bug.
Why close? Did you test? Mislabels may be corrected. Why "not a wine bug"? Did not find for itch.io but available for Steam: https://www.dragonmapmaker.com/ If crash still happens after changing screen settings then this bug should remain open until fixed. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52976 --- Comment #3 from Mike Mestnik <cheako+winehq@mikemestnik.net> --- Close because of the other two things, tldr. 1. Registry dumps and wine registry are not related. 2. Illegal memory access on the programs behalf(while inside the application's code pages) are not normally wine issues. Sometimes wine can provide values that lead to a crash like this. So if the plan was to keep this issue open because of this small likely hood, then we'd need info on that calls made just prior to the crash(`+relay`). Better description, perhaps a video, of what `changes screen settings` means? To me this means on launch there is a splash window with a progress bar that closes, and then the application "goes full screen," and then there is a page exception. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Does it crash on Windows? That's all we need to know.
That's a good idea, but because of the Black Swan thing it would take a couple samples to justify this rationalization. For example it would be a surprise to always crash on AMD and run fine on Intel, because game uses an anti tamper gate that happens to use vendor specific CPU instructions. Then this data point is meaningless. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
