Error::This operating system is not supported by AutoCAD LT 2009 2. Installation ended prematurely because of an error. Line printed to terminal:

After accepting folder, installation begins, but it stops all most immediately with error. "Installation ended prematurely because of an error" Terminal output:

Re-tested 32bit version with Wine 11.6 on Ubuntu Mate 24.04 running on VMWare.

Direct link to 32bit version i used: http://efulfillment.autodesk.com/2009/ACDLT/AutoCAD_LT_2009_English_Win_32bi... I ran the installer, this started self extractor and after a while Installer started. When Install Products was clicked, pretty soon error message with following message was shown: "You cannot install this product on the current operating system" Screenshot attached. Installer extracted files to: c:\install\Autodesk\AutoCAD_LT_2009_English_Win_32bit_Install_Image From there i ran same command as previously: wine msiexec /a x86/acadlt.msi This ended up to same error message as previously. "Installation ended prematurely because of an error"

Somepoint the installer stops and error message is shown, see attached screenshot. In 32bit prefix i tried to install with msiexec using following command. msiexec /i x86/acadlt.msi /l*v "C:\package.log" With above command same error message shown as previously. "Installation ended prematurely because of an error" Package.log had following information at the end. Action start 10:14:37: AdRestartDialog. AdRestartDialog DEBUG: Error 2726: Action not found: AdRestartDialog Internal Error 2726. AdRestartDialog Action ended 10:14:37: AdRestartDialog. Return value 0. Action ended 10:14:37: Fatal_Error. Return value 2 I started msixec with WINEDEBUG=+msi.
