Where to deal with CRLF in Files retrieved with HTTP

Hallo, Xilinx ISE 6.1 webupdate retrieves files per http. These files are CRLF terminated and some of their contend is treated as strings as target for the next HTTP request. This leads to a request like 0014:Call wininet.HttpOpenRequestA(42f6eeb0,1002a268 "GET", 438e17be "/direct/swhelp/series6/6.1i_latestservicepack.dat\r",... ^^ The \r at the end of the string results in the file not found on the server. Running with native wininet results in the same error. Who is responsible for stripping the \r? Crash in 16-bit code

This crash happens when trying to run the installer of a game; I believe it is some old InstallShield version. Any ideas of how I can get more information out of this? Hi Martin, Can your explorer clone be compiled with Wine sources and/or tools ? I have both Windows 2000/XP with latest Cygwin / RedHat Linux environments to test it. Another point : Im not easy with ansi-related questions. You give 2 versions of explorer into the binary snapshot on your website. What are the differences between them ? Both are randomly crashing on my W200 Pro when browsing the Start menu, which makes me want to have a debug version to see where the crash occurs. Forgot to mention: the Maastricht airport is just some 20km away and (the much bigger) Duesseldorf International airport is a one hour train trip. So connectivity is good. Also it is really very central europe, just have a look... And.. yeah Aachen is a town with histoy (ex kaiser residence and stufF) and has the highest pub/population ratio in Germany AFAIK. Hi folks, I'd propose Aachen, Germany as meeting location. I am a student (mec. engineering) at the local technical university and depending on the amound of work involved I'd be very happy to get things up and going for you. There is quite cheap hotel room in Aachen (and I can do some research on that aswelll) and our university has the main buildings right in the city which can provide conference space. There are regularly taking place conferences (science and industry, mostly) and so in the biggest lectures hall in the Karman auditorium. The place has networking installed, and although the WLAN has not too great coverage I guess there's possibilities to come around that (1 or 2 additional WAPs, probably). Aachen is a nice 250.000 town, it's close to the three country triangle Belgium-Germany-Netherlands.
