Upcoming vkd3d 1.13 release

Hi all, As previously announced, the planned release date for vkd3d 1.13 is August 29. That means the public API will become frozen one week from now on August 1, and features will be frozen after August 15. As usual, if you're an upstream vkd3d developer, please do the following: - Keep an eye on Bugzilla for any reported regressions. - Review any API changes since the previous release. - Verify all vkd3d tests pass on your hardware/setup, and please send fixes if they don't. - Review and improve the documentation. - Apply your best judgment about which patches are appropriate for the current stage of the release process. If you're a downstream user of vkd3d, please test your applications for any regressions, and file bug reports if you find any. The planned release date for vkd3d 1.14 is November 21. Regards, Henri

Porting Wine to the other programming languages

Hello, everyone! I'm porting parts of WineHQ into other programming languages. Simply came here to make developers aware of the code reuse. Hope everyone here is okay with that. Example: https://github.com/GreenteaOS/Caramel/blob/kawaii/dlls/user32/dialogs.hexa dialog.c reports "2.1 of the License, or (at your option) any later version" Had to apply heuristics to restore some "high-levelness" of the code. Broken GitWeb

Hi everyone, It appears Wine GitWeb <https://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/?a=shortlog> page is broken since Monday, returning a 403 Forbidden error. I know there is also the GitLab version <https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commits/master> but I prefer the old one. Can someone have a look and fix the (permission) issue? Wine-Staging 9.13 release

The Wine-Staging development release 9.13 is now available. Summary since last release: * Rebased to upstream Wine 9.13. 355 patches are applied to upstream Wine. Patches removed from Wine-Staging since the last release: * ntdll: Implement virtual_map_shared_memory. * server: Implement support for global and local shared memory blocks based on memfd. * user32: Get rid of wineserver call for GetInputState. * ntdll: Only enable wineserver shared memory communication when a special environment variable is set. * server: Store a list of associated queues for each thread input. * user32: Get rid of wineserver call for GetActiveWindow, GetFocus, GetCapture. * user32: Avoid unnecessary wineserver calls in PeekMessage/GetMessage. * user32: Get rid of wineserver call for GetLastInputInfo. wine-staging wineodbc fix

Hello, I've noticed that the wine-staging wineodbc library fails to compile ever since it got introduced in commit 14f63f40e7c87dc87ca1dc64aaa66f344bada4da (but only for 32-bit) This is because the unixlib part of wineodbc requires linking to libodbc (which is rarely present on 32-bit) and because libodbc isn't present, there's a lot of missing symbols The Wine configure.ac does have some checks to prevent building of the whole odbc component if libodbc is missing (but that only works for odbc32, not wineodbc) To fix this issue, enable_odbc32 can be edited to enable_wineodbc in the configure.ac file (make sure to run autoreconf to actually include the fix in the configure script too) Thanks

Support for loongarch64 architecture

I added the loongarch64 architecture code based on the wine-9.9, and currently, built-in programs such as regedit and notepad can be launched. How to add ICU support?

Hi all, I'm currently trying to get the current version of Logos (https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=771) running on Wine. One of the (many) problems is that newer versions of the app use the icu libraries that are part of newer versions of Windows (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/intl/international-componen… ). As far as I could gather, the source code for the icu libraries as shipped with Windows is at https://github.com/microsoft/icu (see especially https://github.com/microsoft/icu/tree/master/icu-patches/patches for the patches that are applied relative to the upstream icu library). What would be the best way to add ICU support to Wine? Best regards, Thomas
