'unicode' usage in x11drv/window.c (X11DRV_CreateWindow)

Hi, while going through some of the code I saw that in the above mentioned function we sometimes do a SendMessage(A/W) depending on the setting of the unicode parameter. In the same function we do 3 SendMessageW's without checking unicode. Is this correct or is this not harmful ? Cheers, Paul Vriens.

Just run diff -urN wine/ new/ > patch.diff where wine is the current cvs code and new is the source tree with all the changes you've made. You can avoid duplicating the whole tree by only diffident a file or directory, for example diff -urN wine/dlls/opengl new/dlls/opengl > patch.diff in this case, the "new" directory only has to contain the dlls/opengl directory. > I thought maybe I should have set 2600 to just 26 ?? BTW, implementations for WCSToMBEx and MBToWCSEx can be found here: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.wine.patches/5049/ I dont have a usable setup to turn them into proper patches but if anyone wants to use them for WINE, go ahead and grab them. Not sure how usefull they would be but I suspect that they may bring WINE closer to the point where native WINIMM.DLL works.

filesystem changes break autofs patch

To whoever is working on filesystem - let me remind you again (and again) that bsd autofs mountpoints do not exist until accessed - and they will not get created for removable media devices without a medium inserted, not even upon access / stat. Therefore, mapping "a:" to autofs'd "/vol/floppy" will not work in wine - any mapping to nonexistant mountpoint had been silently dropped in the past and btw one can not create a symlink to nonexistant point that easily. The unpatched wine has been unusable for autofs for a long time. I have been creating patches for a few years now integrating an option to ini file / registry but they were silently ignored. It is good if you are working again on the filesystem setup but please do not ignore autofs bsd-type automounter system! My patches do not work anymore, so I can not update to the lastest wine. problem w/winebuild and '@' in names

Hi, winebuild doesn't support export names with an '@' correctly. When parsing the spec file, the @X is stripped. This causes names to be incorrectly listed as duplicates. I'm hitting this with mapi32.dll. Outlook 97 imports using get procaddress on the name including the '@', and some exports are given both with and without the '@' decoration. I'm working around this for mapi32 by commenting out remove_stdcall_decoration( odp->name ); at line 463 of parser.c. Is this a known problem, and is that the right solution?
