Shouldn't you return `DEFAULT_BUDDYBORDER_THEMED` like in the original implementation? DEFAULT_BUDDYSPACER_THEMED is not used in other places. I think the logic is obvious enough that DEFAULT_BUDDYSPACER_THEMED can be removed. Same for DEFAULT_BUDDYSPACER_THEMED.
