`kernel32:comm` failures appear unrelated to this patch. The same 4 failures occur at identical lines (`comm.c:859`, `880`, `881`, `886`) on both 32-bit and 64-bit runs, before and after the rebase. Running the same test binary on a physical Windows 11 machine produces 0 failures.
