But then it fails before that bugs orignal issue. I could track it down to the channel +crypt calling `gnutls_global_set_log_level` with a value of equal or above 2. Unfortunately +crypt sets it by default to 4. This different behaviour can be avoided by additionally using the environment GNUTLS_DEBUG_LEVEL set to a value 1 or 0. It has never been successfully installed via the installer but it has still been possible to install and open/start the rest of the program (in order to rip and stuff). Attached is a log of running "wine Alcohol52.exe" without debugger attached, but I can attach a log with relevant flags if anyone knows what those might be. The program is freeware and can be obtained from http://www.filefacts.com/alcohol-52-free-edition-info (linked from official alcoholsoft.com website). The program and wine-versions: * wine-8.7: 32bit and 64bit works * wine-8.8 to wine-8.19: No idea, cannot build properly * wine-8.20 to wine-9.18: 32bit works. 64bit doesn't work * wine-9.19: neither 32 nor 64bit works All versions are built from official git repo with 32bit and 64bit built in separate folders according to instructions on wiki. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. The screen is frozen and the game executable is using 100% CPU and I have no other option than to forcibly end the game. Such games that I know of: Alien Nations, Gabriel Knight 3 from GOG.com, or eRacer and Eurofighter Typhoon from Zoom Platform. eRacer is also available on Steam and has the same developer/publisher listed on Steam as in my Zoom Platform version, so it probably can be used to reproduce the issue: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3600700/eRacer/ Reverting commit 41219d4ec8de7528dada796d644e6badf9328f44 fixes the problem in those games for me. Still present in Wine-11.0-rc3 This commit also introduced the problem that the screen is black during the videos (only audio can be heard). I suspect the application is selecting the first interface. Sadly there is no way to override this. I included a full trace, keywords to look trough are winsock, 127.0.0.1, winsock:bind socket etc. Any help is welcome and if more info is needed let me know. Wine: 9.10-1 and < Archlinux, Kernel 6.9.3. X68_64 A VNC instance where the issue can be reproduced is available on request. A license key for Farming Simulator 2022 can be provided by me on request.
