This happened after my transition to KDE3 (installed into RedHat 7.1). Now I have RedHat 7.3 -> a clean installation. Does it work?? -> Testing... -> Second test... Oh! Now the sound works, without having any WinMM section in the config. We shall see if I shall continue to have the same problems. If not, I cannot continue with the aid to solve this bug :-( It seems that for me it's resolved :-) But as I say, we will see. In RH 7.3, there's a new version of Wine (20020310).
