I suspect this is because of some GetLastError() incompatibility between Win9x and NT-based versions (doh!). In a WinXP DOS box, if a directory already exists, this fact is silently ignored and the program carries on. However, under Wine, the application reports an error: > ERROR:MDT - Failed to create directory > C:\microblaze\linux_test\microblaze_1\libsrc\. It seems that Wine is reporting this as a "fatal" error, whereas Windows does not. I reported this at comp.emulators.microsoft-windows.wine, and was advised to lodge a bug report. I searched the bugzilla DB and didn't find anything like this.
