However, there is a constant flood of messages like this on stderr: err:ddraw:Main_DirectDrawSurface_GetSurfaceDesc Impossible/Strange struct size 0. Eventually this will make the log so large it fills up the entire partition on my system. I work around it by symlinking the log to /dev/null, which works nicely, but is not very pretty. Since everything seems to be working, the warning may be redundant. At least it should probably not be issued more than once unless some special debug mode is on. I`m not using 'tools/wineinstall' but use ./configure script then 'make depend && make' after it instead. Im building and installing wine under root login.
