I should have mentioned that the Fedora people might well be very happy to receive your report; it's not often one runs across a repeatable way to crash a Linux system (well, maybe it's not *that* uncommon on a FC system with a testing kernel, but still). Which documentation was I not paying attention to? I'm more than willing to RTFM!
