All the recommended packages have been successfully installed, and verified vith ./configure --verbose. No error messages have been seen during the ./configure, make depend and make commands. I am under a newly installed Kubuntu Edy Eft, with no major changes made on it. Each time I attempt to run a Wine application, after I ctrl-c the hung application a wine-preloader process is left behind which will only die if I kill -9 it (just kill'ing it leaves it [defunct]).
