After getting rid of the CD check I can start the game and actually play. I'll attach a screenshot (and yeah, my gnome is old enough to have that fullscreen bug). Framerate, however, is extremely lousy. Something like 5 fps or so. I don't see obvious rendering artifacts, although I didn't leave that starting room yet ;) Sound is stuttering like mad, too - but that's normal for games running at this framerate... It works fine but when I open a new window and switch back to original one in window manager, the application stops responding and redrawing and Wine prints following message: err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x607e61e0 "x11drv_main.c: X11DRV_CritSection" wait timed out in thread 0009, blocked by 0012, retrying (60 sec) After that timeout: fixme:imm:ImmDisableIME (-1): stub wine: Critical section 607e61e0 wait failed at address 0x602a6ee0 (thread 0009), starting debugger... WineDbg starting on pid 0x8 Unhandled exception: wait failed on critical section 0x607e61e0 thread_data_tls_index+0x44 err:seh:raise_exception Unhandled exception code c0000194 flags 0 addr 0x602a6ee0 Process of pid=0x00000008 has terminated ... and starts wine-dbg which exits immediatelly.
