I am running Debian 3.1 (stable) on a remote box via vncserver. The referred dll is copied from my local windows. But if I run it using the native wintab32, the crash no longer occurs. I've managed to recreate the problem with chatconnect.exe from the dx7sdk, and it still occurs, just that it doesn't spit out the SIO_ADDRESS_LIST_QUERY stub fixme anymore with your patch.
