Only whole device. It could be that your app tries that, fails then sets whole device to absolute. And because Wine doesn't return failure app thinks axis mode changed. Sure enough, it seems to have trouble. The first thing it does is pop up an 'Info' dialog twice, which is ok, but when you click it away, it hangs around with no body; seems the main window just doesn't draw itself, leaving the blank dialog there. Likewise, you can use the menus, and try to place a logic element like this: Datei / Neu Bauteile / Auswaehlen / Und (mouse to somewhere and click left) but it tells you it can't place the gate there. Presumably the main window shows you where you can put gates, but it isn't drawn, so you can't see where you're going wrong.
