VB apps are defective by their nature. If it uses direct access (is it even possible in VB?) to com port then it be slow no matter what. Does this app run on win2k? Colors are set to gray text on black background (normal) and white text on a black background (highlighted) in a VT102 terminal session. If I select text, the window switches to black text on a white background. However, subsequent incoming text becomes gray on black again.
