Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P3 Component: wine-directx-dinput AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: fyhuang(a)gmail.com The demo of Heroes of Might and Magic V, after having installed and run with the "allow window manager to control windows" option unset, doesn't recognize any keyboard events and seems to only be able to handle mouse left-clicks. All tooltips show hotkeys as being "MOUSE-AXIS-X", even though in the config file they are set correctly. Using right-click to rotate the camera and middle-click to scroll doesn't work. No keyboard buttons work at all, making it impossible to "press any key" and actually exit the demo (which requires a press of the ENTER key). The same problem exists in the 0.9.19 version. I get the same problems in Visual Fox Pro 6.0 itself. It manifests itself when I try to edit the code of an object like a form, grid, etc. Instead of appearing, the code window that is to appear remains hidden, but is available in the window list. The problem also affects other windows in Fox. After I select a different window it appears, and only after doing that I can select the window that was to appear in the first place. I hope that you will be able to recreate this bug and fix it. For me it is a very big problem, because I use Wine in a small company to run Visual Fox Pro software. And I'm sure it is a problem for someone else. For example Sea Dogs cro(a)cro-desktop:~$ wine /media/cdrom/setup.exe ^Will cause .dat file not found error in application. cro(a)cro-desktop:~$ cd /media/cdrom/ cro(a)cro-desktop:/media/cdrom$ wine setup.exe ^Will do the trick. The bug is also appear when duble click on executable and shortcuts. The same is with SA Dictionary ,NFS 5 autorun. I'm not shure wine-loader is causind this.The same is with my English.
