The mouse pointer even converts correctly. I can confirm this on Ubuntu 7.04 x86, Nvidia proprietary drivers 100.11.14 and wine 0.9.46. The shipped version, 0.9.41, doesn't crash and does go in game, albeit without shadows (I guess 0.9.46 would do the same though), but it doesn't display text.
