See details below. The console output is attached. Wine version: wine-0.9.44 OS: Fedora Core 7 GCC version: 4.1.2.20070502 (Red Hat 4.1.2-12) Windows: No windows, just a clean wine install Program: 4M - Intellicad 6 classic. Download demo: http://www.4msa.com/downloads/SetupICADClassic64_E.exe Install: wine SetupICADClassic64_E.exe How to run: I had to copy mfc71.dll,msvcr71.dll and msvcp71.dll from a Win XP SP2 install into drive_c/windows/system32 folder Command line: wine "C:\ICAD6CLASSIC\icad.exe" How to reproduce: Run the program, in welcome dialog click 'Start Evaluation', in program command line type 'line', click two points in black screen and hit Enter or right-click. Try to save (Ctrl+S). Choose a path, could be in drive_c. But when i minimize it and restore the window does not redraw, it become transparent, so i see a part of desktop under the window. Sometimes it restoring normally. When I disable support of window manager it works normally, i can minimize an restore window so i want. I think it is a bug of window management. It runs until I move the mouse cursor into the Wine window for the first time. After this the video no longer runs, and it doesn't run again when leaving the Wine window with the mouse cursor. The Wine window contains a freeze image of what was shown when the mouse first entered the Wine window, and after switching in FVWM to a different virtual desktop and back it isn't redrawn. When also enabling sound in winecfg the sound of the intro movie continues running normally although the video has stopped. Clicking on the left mouse button inside the Wine window for aborting the intro movie and getting into the main menu of the game still works. By default Far Cry uses Direct3D9, this causes a segmentation fault upon starting the game. As a work around, `r_Driver = "Direct3D9"` can be changed to `r_Driver = "OpenGL"` in Program Files/Ubisoft/Crytek/Far Cry/system.cfg, though it would of course be better if it worked out of the box. I am attaching the terminal output (30kB->2.0kB bz2), the output with WINEDEBUG=+relay (920MB->519kB), and the output with WINEDEBUG=+d3d (40kB->2.6kB).
